Basically, the Fashion Designer course follows the educational path followed by students in the first year of the Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design.
The frequency is 3/4 times a week, preferably in the afternoon. The course has a duration of two semesters, from October to June.
Artistic anatomy and study of the silhouette. Classic canons. Fashion design and collection design. Colour scale and colour techniques. Fashion drawing techniques (fabrics, knitwear, leather, fur, accessories).
Basics of Visual&Graphic Design.
Decoration on fabric. Use of the loom and different decoration techniques on samples or T-shirts. Computer illustration: Full use of Adobe Photoshop for colouring fashion figurines. Designing a collection, from moodboard to outfit planning. Basic elements of modeling and couture tailoring.
At the end of the course, the student has to pass the exams of all the subjects studied during the two semesters.
