Design and Research
The course combines skills in drawing and artistic and digital design with a solid knowledge of couture and industrial pattern making, training professionals capable of understanding every stage in the production of an outfit. Throughout the programme, students are encouraged to develop the skills required to design fashion collections, using advanced representation techniques and innovative software, such as artificial intelligence and CLO3D for three-dimensional design. The study programme also aims to provide the tools needed to interpret trends, select fabrics and create coherent garments, essential skillsfor working in a design department. In addition to its creative component, the course offers comprehensive training in pattern making for both haute couture and industrial production. In this way, young fashion designers acquire the skills needed to enter the professional world, combining innovation and creativity with a solid command of the production fundamentals required by the Fashion Industry.

Admission requirements
To enrol in the three-year European Bachelor in FASHION DESIGN: SARTORIA COUTURE at Accademia Koefia, applicants must hold an upper-secondary school diploma obtained after five years of study or another qualification obtained abroad (formal equivalence is not required; the foreign qualification is directly valid).
Attend an online admission interview
Students from fashion schools, art high schools specialising in fashion and vocational fashion institutes are admitted directly without further formalities
Students from general high schools or other upper-secondary schools must submit a portfolio of fashion drawings and projects
